I have an orchid that was given to me. It refuses to bloom again, or even grow at all, for that matter.....coming close to throwing it away.....

make sure it gets enough light and plenty of water/food. they also like heat. i have a vanilla orchid that is growing well. it's up higher so that it receives the rising warm air.
