wakeboard and the beach
i just got back the other day with my wife and girls from a 3 day wakeboard trip up in east hope, id. the temp never went below 85°F during the day and the water temp was great. clear glassy water. it was great. my youngest daughter hayden loved the water, even though she can't swim. my oldest daughter blythe, well let's just say that she isn't going to be a strong swimmer for quite a while.
the only downfall to this trip was my wife had jury duty the following week. we had leave that sunday so she could go to the courthouse the following day. leaving wound up being a blessing in disquise. blythe had a fever of 102.3°F during the day and when we got home, it was 103.6°F. i had to take her to the emergency room at about 9.30 pm and left at 1.00 am. she has:
Tonsilitis

ah, the joys of parenting. she is on meds now and the doctor believes that it is viral and not strep, so it isn't contagious.
