nishinomiya japanese garden
we recently went to manito park on saturday. i love that place. it's in s
pokane on the south hill. it is a huge park with a conservatory, rose garden, duck pond, duncan's garden, and my favorite. . .the nishinomiya japanese garden (NJG). in the NJG, there is a huge koi pond too. i have a few pictures to post.

we try to make it at least once a summer, but last year we weren't able to make it. hopefully in the fall, we will be able to go again, when all the leaves are changing color. i think my wife gets annoyed with me wanting to go so much. i love it there. it is so peaceful and quiet, even when there are others there too.

i'm trying to get ideas for my bonsai from the garden. i told erin that i am done with bonsai for a while (last fall, i had over 60 plants for bonsai. i lost all but 5 of them over the winter). i want to get back into it, so i've decided to only have a few plants right now. that way, i can put my attention to those few. i have some maples that i've started from seed (and i have to get some maple

well, with that, enjoy the pictures. . .
